Sarah
Blowers Melia joined Drohan Tocchio & Morgan in 2007. Her
practice focuses on estate and gift planning, business succession planning
and taxation. Sarah also handles various estate administration and probate
matters. Prior to joining the firm, Sarah practiced in Boston for five
years, as an Associate with Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis
LLP and as Associate Counsel for John Hancock. While with John
Hancock, Sarah traveled extensively throughout the US and Canada giving
lectures to insurance professionals about sophisticated estate planning
techniques for their clients.
Sarah
was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 2002. Sarah received her
JD, cum laude, from Boston College Law School in 2002 and her B.A.
in American History from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998. She
is currently pursuing her LL.M in Taxation at Boston University Law
School. Sarah and her family are long time residents of Hingham and
Sarah is thrilled to be retuning to practice in her home town.
