Jason W. Morgan
Jason
W. Morgan is the head of the
firm's litigation practice group. He joined the firm in 2004, after
practicing for more than eight years in Boston, at Day Berry & Howard
LLP and Sullivan & Worcester LLP. Jason has represented clients in a
wide variety of litigation matters, including commercial contract,
intellectual property, unfair trade practices, close corporation,
non-competition, employment, corporate dissolution, and insurance matters.
He also has assisted corporations and individuals in negotiating and
drafting non-disclosure, non-competition, and licensing agreements. An
important part of Jason's practice includes counseling clients on how to
minimize or avoid litigation exposure.
Jason earned his J.D.
from the University of Virginia School of Law. He graduated from The
College of William & Mary with an economics degree. He is admitted to
practice in the state and federal courts in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Jason has been a project director for Citizens Schools, a non-profit
organization that provides opportunities for students between the ages of
nine and fourteen to participate in mock trials and writing workshops.
He also has chaired the mock trial program for the Boston Lawyers Group,
which offers a program that allows minority college students to learn
about the law. Jason is actively involved in Hingham Youth Soccer, where
he serves on the Board of Directors.
